This year we're going to use a new tool to share what we're learning in class called Seesaw. Your child will have his or her own learning journal, and you can get notified when your child adds new items. It's completely private -- only you can see your child's journal outside of class. Click on https://app.seesaw.me/s/719-760-224 to sign up -- it takes just 30 seconds.
Once you sign up, you can download the Seesaw Parent app for iPhone or Android, or access your child's journal on the web.

CELEBRATION OF LEARNING
Next week beginning 13th June there will be parent/student/teacher interviews. In Year 4 the students take part in this interview process to share some of their learning, achievements and challenges with you. This is an important process for you to see what your child has accomplished over the past two terms of work and what they are excited to share with you.Their presentation will be a short 5 minute display of the work they're proud to present. Please ensure that your child comes along to the interview with you as they will be leading the discussion.
At the end of their short presentation they will invite you to provide them with some feedback on how you feel they are going. It's important to use this opportunity to provide your child with a chance to set a learning goal for next semester. If you haven't booked a time to see me next week there are still plenty of times available. I look forward to seeing you all next week.
